WRT | RFP No. 60149: San Leandro Comprehensive Parks Master Plan 51 <br />Fremont Parks Master Plan <br />Fremont, CA <br />WRT and PROS Consulting are working with the City of Fremont to develop their Park Master <br />Plan Update. This is the first Parks Plan for Fremont since 1995, and it comes at a much- <br />needed time for the city given their growth over the past 25 years. The core purpose of the <br />Master Plan is to understand Fremont’s diverse demography and provide contemporary <br />recreation facilities to meet their needs. Moreover, the plan will provide guidance for future <br />recreational, programming, environmental, and maintenance needs, as well as establishment <br />of priorities for facility improvements, future park development, and land acquisitions. WRT <br />has collected a detailed inventory of the existing parks and recreational facilities, creating <br />a robust GIS based data base. WRT has also lead geographic analysis looking into issues of <br />equity, economics, cultural amenities, access and future development.
