IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023- <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNTIL TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 FOR $123,900.00 TO THE INSTALLATION AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CLIMATEC, LLC TO INCLUDE INTERIM REPLACEMENT <br />COMPONENTS OF THE HVAC SYSTEM AT THE SENIOR COMMUNITY CENTER, FROM ARPA <br />ACCOUNT 190-17-801-5240 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 13, 2021, the City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into an <br />Installation Agreement between the City of San Leandro and Climatec, LLC for energy-efficiency and resiliency <br />projects located in various City buildings; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 21, 2022, the City Council authorized the City Manager to approve Amendment No. <br />1 to the Installation Agreement between the City of San Leandro and Climatec, LLC to include replacement of <br />the Senior Community Center’s HVAC system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due to the long lead timeline for manufacturing the new unit, the City desires to have <br />certain components replaced in the interim in order to improve functionality of the HVAC unit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ARPA funding is available for this additional work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all other conditions of the 2021 Installation Agreement and Amendment No. 1 remain in <br />effect; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council is familiar with the contents of Amendment No. 2; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />1. That said Amendment No. 2 to the Installation Agreement is hereby approved and execution by the <br />City Manager is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />
