Youth participants for example can include the <br />experience on resumes, college applications, and will benefit from the public speaking <br />opportunities. <br /> <br />San Leandro High School’s Social Justice Academy and San Lorenzo High School’s Druids <br />environmental club may be great partners for this program. <br /> <br />3.7 Advisory Committee Meeting #3 <br />WRT will present the feedback received in the first stage of community engagement at a <br />virtual meeting of the Advisory Committee. This meeting may cover the results of the <br />stakeholder interviews, the pop-up/neighborhood meetings, the first public workshop, the <br />statistically valid survey, and the Community Ambassadors program, <br /> <br />3.8 Outreach Materials for Print and Digital Media (3) <br />WRT and Team will create project branding and will design handouts for print and for digital <br />use to support project outreach at each major project milestone. <br />People lead busy lives or may feel disconnected from public processes; it is important to try <br />to reach people by a variety of means. WRT will leverage both hi-tech and low-tech tools to <br />connect with residents and direct them towards the Parks Master Planning process. WRT will <br />work the City identify a specific set of engagement tools. <br /> <br />3.9 Online Engagement Tool and Updates (3) <br />In addition to keeping community members up to date about events, it’s also important to <br />provide online engagement tools that allow people to share their feedback at their own <br />convenience. There are multiple options available to provide this service that range widely in <br />terms of budget. Many communities find success with easy-to-use tools like online surveys <br />and email blasts.
