<br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Last revised 09/25/2023 <br />Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. for Claims Handling Services Exhibit A – Page 5 of 5 <br />3. All records, files, transcripts, computer tapes and other materials on general liability <br />adjusting activity developed for the City of San Leandro claims is the property of the City of <br />San Leandro and must be relinquished in good order and condition upon termination of this <br />contract with the Claims Administrator. The City shall not be required to pay any additional <br />cost for the transfer of files to the City. <br /> <br />4. Attend all meetings with City staff as requested. <br /> <br />5. Be available for spot audit checks by the City and CJPRMA when requested. <br /> <br />6. Cooperate with file and program audits with state agencies and City designated auditors. <br /> <br />7. Be available to respond to a major emergency or catastrophe involving the City <br />to expedite claims processing <br /> <br />E. Minimum Qualifications <br /> <br />1. The firm and/or its principals servicing the City shall have at least ten (10) years <br />administration experience in the municipal administration of General Liability. <br /> <br />2. The firm servicing the City of San Leandro shall at all times have a proximate location <br />to the City conducive to the expedient investigation/administration of claims (in the sole <br />discretion of the City), as part of the clai ms service. <br /> <br />3. The designated claims adjuster must have a minimum of ten years’ experience at a <br />senior adjuster level in addition to lower level position experience (claims assistant). <br /> <br />4. The firm must have a strong customer service orientation at all levels of the firm. A <br />designated manager must have the authority to resolve claims issues immediately, including <br />re- assignment of Claims Adjuster staff to City’s satisfaction. <br /> <br />5. The designated claims adjuster shall have a total maximum caseload of 200 open <br />files only, from any source. <br /> <br />6.
