Class A - General Engineering Contractor, Class B - General Building Contractor, or a combination <br />of C-8 - Concrete Contractor and C-33 - Painting and Decorating Contractor <br /> <br />General <br /> <br />The Contractor is responsible for conducting all work according to local regulation. The Contractor shall <br />load, haul, and legally dispose all debris and removed work. Contractor shall pay for all equipment rental, <br />permits, receiving facility fees, tariffs, and personnel costs incurred in completing the work. Any <br />negligence on the Contractor’s part shall be rectified by the Contractor. <br /> <br />Permits: <br /> <br />1) San Leandro Building Permit will be applied for by the engineer. The contractor <br />shall pick up permit from City of San Leandro Building department. <br /> <br />2) The contractor shall submit and obtain any CAL-OSHA permits required for work <br />described herein. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Special Inspections: Inspections shall be facilitated by contractor. 72 HR minimum notice required <br />for scheduling inspections. <br /> <br />1) Inspection of reinforcement prior concrete placement. <br /> <br />2) Inspection of welding <br /> <br />Sequence of Work: <br /> <br />1) Inspection of structure <br />2) Submittals <br />3) Procure long lead materials <br />4) Meeting to review work/schedule <br />5) Shop drawings <br />6) Mobilization <br />7) Construction <br />8) Post construction inspections <br />9) Punchlist items <br /> <br />Submittals: <br /> <br />Contractor shall allow a minimum of 10 working days for review of both submittals and re-submittals. <br />Contractor shall include a date by which a response is requested with each submittal. <br /> <br />Each submittal shall be sequentially numbered, and Contractor shall keep a log of all submittals made. <br />The submittal shall at a minimum contain a cover page that includes a submittal number, submittal title, <br />submittal revision number when applicable, date of submittal, date of return, submittal content to review <br />and a 4x4 area blank area for city stamp of review outcome.
