Findings report shall not limit work, <br />and any instances needing modification per this section shall be the responsibility of the contractor. <br />Projections: <br />a) The diameter of a projection should not increase in the direction away from the surrounding surface toward the <br />exposed end (see Figure 2). Bolts should not expose more than two threads beyond the end of the nut (see <br />Figure 3). Contractor shall locate and replace or modify any projections not conforming with restrictions  <br />describe herein. <br /> <br />Hooks: <br />a) Contractor shall locate all hooks, such as S-hooks and C-hooks with a gap or space greater than 0.04 <br />inches, about the thickness of a dime. Contractor shall close hooks using mechanical pressure or replace. <br />Puncture Hazards: <br />a) Contractor shall locate all sharp points, corners, or edges on any part of the structure that may cut or <br />puncture a child’s skin. Contractor shall make all puncture hazards to be rounded, rolled, or have rounded <br />capping installed. <br />Open Ends: <br />a) Contractor shall locate exposed open ends of all tubing not resting on the ground or otherwise covered. <br />Contractor shall be cover with caps or plugs that cannot be removed without the use of tools. <br />Signage: <br />a) Contractor shall install signage where potential entanglements may occur.
