<br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and <br />Gates & Associates, Inc for Staff Augmentation Exhibit A – Page 9 of 31 <br />SCHEDULE: <br />Task 2 shall be completed within 26 weeks of notice to proceed. <br /> <br />TASK 3 – DESIGN DEVELOPMENT <br />Consultant shall develop plans, specifications, and estimates for one bidding package with add <br />alternates as listed here. <br />● Package 1, Zone 1/ Phase 1 Mulford point, Pescador Point, Boat Launch and Zone 2 <br />Shared Parking (Add Alternate), all as described in the RFP, work shall include: <br />o Marina demolition & decommissioning including: <br />▪ Neptune Drive Sea Wall Replacement (Demo wood structure and replace <br />with concrete seawall) <br />▪ Sea Plane Launch and coastal zone immediately south towards El Torito <br />(Demo/Rebuild Shoreline) <br />▪ Pescador Boat Lift (Demo) <br />▪ Pescador Boat Ramp (Demo/Rebuild shoreline) <br />▪ Fishing Pier (Demo) <br />o Landside Demolition <br />o Rip Rap Extension <br />o Grading and sea level rise mitigation <br />o Interim Bay Trail <br />o Shared Parking lot <br />o Utility Coordination <br />o Hydroseed or similar ground surface treatment <br />o Pescador Point restroom and boat launch <br /> <br />Work shall include but not be limited to the following tasks required to complete the overall <br />scope of work described herein. <br />Subtask 3.1 – 50% Design Development <br />● Prepare the 50% Design Development Plans and Estimates based on the Marina <br />Decommissioning report, Coastal Engineering report, Conceptual Design for Shoreline <br />Improvements, data collection, project goals and project budget. <br />● Develop a utility and infrastructure Masterplan which documents the electrical (EV <br />chargers, Lighting), data, dry utility, City fiber backbone, wet utilities and irrigation needs <br />for project packages 2, 3 and 4. Detailed utility plans, profiles and calculations are <br />excluded. This plan shall provide the sizing, inverts, and conforms required for Bid <br />Package 1 (zones 1 and 2, and key areas of zones 3 and 4 identified in Attachment E) to <br />support the park expansion in future phases. <br />● Coordinate all work including: limits of work, temporary pedestrian access, construction <br />access, lagoon demo access, existing elements to remain, demolition, surcharging, <br />grading, utilities and services, future utility connections, and perimeter conforms for each <br />package. <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 30A47DAA-8ADC-4C81-A393-00F3D4407ED9
