The Governor must submit a request within 30 days of <br />the start of the incident. <br />Emergency Operations Center Activation <br />During a response to a complex or large-scale incident, the EOC may actfvate to coordinate response operatfons <br />and support situatfonal awareness among response partners. When actfvated, the EOC communicates with field <br />responders at the ICP, actfvated DOCs, the Alameda County OA EOC, other jurisdictfons’ EOCs, and non- <br />governmental partners through established communicatfon pathways. <br />Based on the circumstances of the incident, the EOC will actfvate at a pre-determined actfvatfon level. Generally, <br />the more complex an incident’s response needs are, the more positfons will be actfvated within the EOC.
