EXHIBIT B1 <br />SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES <br />July 15, 2024 Page B1-5 Franchise Agreement, Exhibit B1 <br />Collection Notice which explains the reason for non-Collection, and also leaves a <br />clean and empty Used Oil Recovery Kit adjacent to the refused Used Motor Oil <br />and Filter set-out. Contractor may refuse to Collect a Used Motor Oil Recovery <br />Kit which contains liquid other than Used Motor Oil or cooking oil, provided that <br />Contractor leaves a Non-Collection Notice which explains the reason for non- <br />Collection. <br />5. Bulky Item Collection Services <br />Two (2) times per Rate Period, Contractor shall Collect Bulky Items, Reusable Materials, and other <br />materials described herein from Single-Family Customers. The Bulky Item Collection events shall be on- <br />call events at no additional cost to the Customers. During the first two (2) complete calendar weeks of <br />January each year and during the weeks designated for Textiles Collection (in accordance with Section 10 <br />of Exhibit B1), Contractor shall not be required to schedule Bulky Item and Reusable Material Collection <br />events. Notwithstanding this Section, Contractor shall provide Abandoned Waste Collection services at all <br />times of the year, in accordance with Section 4.7. <br />Containers: Not applicable <br />Service Level: Up to three (3) cubic yards of Reusable Materials, Recyclable Materials, and <br />Solid Waste; AND, up to three (3) Bulky Items of which one (1) may be an E- <br />Waste Item <br />Service Frequency: Two (2) times per year per Single-Family Customers (as requested by Customer). <br />Service Location: Curbside, in front of each individual Premises, or other location on or adjacent <br />to Customer’s Premises, as arranged by Customer and Contractor, to reduce <br />safety concerns of Collecting Bulky Items along busy streets. <br />Acceptable Materials: Reusable Materials, Bulky Items, Recyclable Materials, Yard Trimmings, Solid <br />Waste, and E-Waste <br />Prohibited Materials: Food Scraps, Hazardous Materials, rocks, cement, dirt, bundled wood exceeding <br />five (5) feet in length, abandoned automobiles, automobile batteries, Excluded <br />Waste , or any single item (e.g., large auto parts) that exceeds one hundred fifty <br />(150) lbs. in weight. <br />Additional Service: Contractor shall Collect additional Acceptable Materials (as described herein) <br />that exceed the required Service Level (as requested by Customer) and may <br />charge the appropriate Rate approved by the City for such additional material <br />Collected. <br /> The Contractor shall also provide on-call clean-up Collection services to <br />Customers requesting more than two (2) free events for which the Customer is <br />entitled pursuant to this Section and may charge Customers Rates provided such <br />Rates comply with City-established Rates. <br />Other Requirements: Contractor shall provide the service to the Customer within five (5) Working <br />Days of the Customer’s requested service date, as mutually agreed upon by the <br />Customer and Contractor.
