Project
management runs throughout the entire program and shall apply to each task in an individually tailored
approach.
Our first step is to develop a project management plan that details the timing of task deliverables, the
review process, and responsible individuals. To support the project plan, we propose bi-weekly calls
between the City project manager and our project manager to discuss progress and address any concerns
that may arise. NPA shall also provide monthly project management reports to the Planning Team to
provide details of accomplished work, pending action items, and project challenges.
Project management consists of the following activities:
Project Schedule
NPA shall work with the City to establish and confirm a project timeline and schedule to include all major
milestones and deliverables. Table 4 depicts the proposed schedule for the project and shall be updated
monthly along with the City and IWG as necessary. NPA is confident that a completed plan can be
presented to Cal OES and FEMA within 5 months from the Notice to Proceed. NPA shall complete and
deliver the plan, including a public comment period, by January 2025. Once submitted to Cal OES and
FEMA, the review period can take anywhere from three (3) to six (6) months. NPA can request a
concurrent review of the LHMP to speed up the approval process, but it is not guaranteed.
NPA proposes the following schedule. Scheduled events may vary based upon City staff availability,
timeliness of Cal OES / FEMA reviews and unforeseen events.
Docusign Envelope ID: C52B82D1-BCAD-4260-AF1B-3FCC857FC38E
