29 <br /> <br /> <br />• Earthquake • Geological and Soil hazards <br />• Flooding • Hazardous Material Release <br />• Severe Weather (extreme temperatures, fog, <br />thunderstorms, high winds, lightning, etc.) <br />• Wildfire <br />• Transportation Incidents <br />• Power Outage <br />NPA, along with the IWG, shall review these hazards to ensure prioritization is accurate and identify <br />additional hazards that may be of concern. <br />Hazard Mapping <br />Using the best available data, NPA shall provide a risk assessment that includes hazard and infrastructure <br />mapping delineating areas affected by hazards and identifying locations of local assets. NPA shall take the <br />existing data and ensure new developments and infrastructure are overlayed with updated hazard maps. To <br />the extent possible, NPA shall develop City specific maps that show impacts to infrastructure. The <br />geographic information data shall comprise a comprehensive inventory for use in developing map data <br />layers of the following items relative to the multiple hazard area: <br />• Public Buildings, including parcel-level inventory of vulnerable structures. <br />• Critical facilities and infrastructure such as emergency operations centers, hospitals, City <br />halls/City administration buildings, police and fire stations, and potential emergency shelters <br />• Special populations facilities such as schools, prisons, skilled nursing/elder care facilities and <br />daycare facilities <br />• Critical lifeline infrastructure such as power generation plants and water/wastewater treatment <br />plants <br />• Review existing studies, reports and plans related to historical disasters, and document disaster <br />declaration history. <br />• Hazardous materials sites <br />• Evacuation routes <br />Quality detailed maps shall be created and tailored for the City that depict the location of parcels, <br />structures, land use, and population. Structures shall be categorized by type of use (e.g., residential, <br />commercial, industrial, etc.).
