<br />Amendment 1 Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro Last revised 12/18/2024 <br />and RRM Design Group for Conceptual Design Services Amended Exhibit A - Page 4 of 5 <br />person and have a direct visual of the space. City staff will be responsible for coordinating the <br />meetings. RRM will prepare meeting notes for review and distribution by City staff. <br />Deliverables: <br />o Up to one (1) onsite stakeholder meeting <br />o Meeting notes <br />Subtask VI.B: Explore Plaza Improvement Ideas <br />RRM will research and gather images of improvements that could be applied to the Joaquin Plaza. <br />Images will include character photos of other downtown plazas and potential products and/or <br />improvements suited for this project. The City is expected to consider some of the products and <br />solutions specified in the previous contract. <br />The design for Joaquin Plaza will focus on creating a multifunctional, inclusive space that <br />enhances its surrounding buildings and serves as the focal point of the downtown beautification <br />project. The plaza will prioritize a welcoming and comfortable experience for both new visitors and <br />returning users, featuring flexible spaces that integrate smaller “places” within the space and year- <br />round activities like festivals, markets, and concerts. Thoughtfully designed amenities will <br />emphasize accessibility, safety, and maintainability, with clear sightlines and pathways to promote <br />mobility and walkability. <br />Deliverables: <br />o Up to two (2) image boards of character photos and products/improvements <br />Subtask VI.C: Preliminary Opinion of Cost <br />RRM will prepare a preliminary cost analysis exercise to determine the cost of the type of <br />improvements explored in Subtask V1.B. <br />Deliverables: <br />o Preliminary opinion of cost <br />Subtask VI.D: Base Map <br />Utilizing the measurements of the Plaza taken by RRM on site in Task I.E, as defined in the Prime <br />Agreement, RRM will create a base map sufficient for the conceptual design. <br />Deliverables: <br />o Base map <br />Subtask VI.E: Field Investigation <br />RRM will conduct a site reconnaissance of the plaza to investigate existing conditions, including <br />above-ground features, evident utilities, vegetation, and surrounding conditions.
