Amendment 1 Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro Last revised 12/18/2024 and RRM Design Group for Conceptual Design Services Amended Exhibit A - Page 4 of 5 person and have a direct visual of the space. City staff will be responsible for coordinating the meetings. RRM will prepare meeting notes for review and distribution by City staff. Deliverables: o Up to one (1) onsite stakeholder meeting o Meeting notes Subtask VI.B: Explore Plaza Improvement Ideas RRM will research and gather images of improvements that could be applied to the Joaquin Plaza. Images will include character photos of other downtown plazas and potential products and/or improvements suited for this project. The City is expected to consider some of the products and solutions specified in the previous contract. The design for Joaquin Plaza will focus on creating a multifunctional, inclusive space that enhances its surrounding buildings and serves as the focal point of the downtown beautification project. The plaza will prioritize a welcoming and comfortable experience for both new visitors and returning users, featuring flexible spaces that integrate smaller “places” within the space and year- round activities like festivals, markets, and concerts. Thoughtfully designed amenities will emphasize accessibility, safety, and maintainability, with clear sightlines and pathways to promote mobility and walkability. Deliverables: o Up to two (2) image boards of character photos and products/improvements Subtask VI.C: Preliminary Opinion of Cost RRM will prepare a preliminary cost analysis exercise to determine the cost of the type of improvements explored in Subtask V1.B. Deliverables: o Preliminary opinion of cost Subtask VI.D: Base Map Utilizing the measurements of the Plaza taken by RRM on site in Task I.E, as defined in the Prime Agreement, RRM will create a base map sufficient for the conceptual design. Deliverables: o Base map Subtask VI.E: Field Investigation RRM will conduct a site reconnaissance of the plaza to investigate existing conditions, including above-ground features, evident utilities, vegetation, and surrounding conditions. Measurements of the site will be taken to create a base map on which the conceptual design will be overlayed.
