This scope assumes no significant changes from the draft to the
final with regards to horizontal and vertical alignment. The consultant team will develop
preliminary engineering drawings and cost estimates for the infrastructure elements outlined in
Tasks 7.1 and 7.2. For Tasks 7.2 and 7.3, drawings would include horizontal alignment and
grading limits with elevations.
7.1 Public Infrastructure Roadway Geometry Design
BKF will prepare roadway geometry conceptual plans for public streets showing curbs,
sidewalks, striping, and multimodal improvements within the development or immediately
adjacent to the development, including design of key intersections. Improvements outside of the
immediate Bay Fair plan area would need to be determined as additional scope.

Deliverables:
• Draft Roadway Geometry Conceptual Plans (10%) for public streets
• Final Roadway Geometry Conceptual Plans (10%) for public streets
7.2 New Estudillo Channel Complete Streets Crossing Design
This task focuses on locating and designing a new multi-modal connection between the BART
station and development northeast of the Estudillo Channel and the East Bay Greenway on
E14th St.
A. Supplemental Survey for New Crossing
BKF will complete additional surveying based on the preferred location of the new Estudillo
Channel crossing. BKF will supplement the aerial topographic survey with additional
topographic survey for the specific location of the crossing to analyze accessibility access and
design constraints. BKF will prepare an AutoCAD topographic survey of the existing pedestrian
bridge over Estudillo Canal and at the location of the preferred new crossing. The survey will be
prepared at a 1”-20’ scale using 3D scanning methods or conventional methods. The survey
will be prepared prior to the Preliminary Engineering Drawings.

Cross-Sections: Based on the field survey, cross- sections will be developed at the new creek
channel crossing. We have anticipated up to 3 sections would be used to analyze the crossing
design.
Docusign Envelope ID: 885601F4-01B5-4FAB-A341-08EBC29876AA
