Non-Professional Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and March 1, 2025 <br />Micki’s Towing Inc. — Exhibit A Page 2 of 11 <br />equipment and storage facilities related to Contractor's performance under the Non -Professional Services <br />Agreement available for a periodic inspection by the City Manager, the Chief of Police, or their designee(s) <br />to determine if the garage is in compliance with the rules and regulations of the City. <br />F.PRIORITY AND RESPONSE TIME <br />The Contractor shall furnish such services as requested by SLPD and noted in the Non -Professional Services <br />Agreement at any time during the day or night and shall: <br />1)Give priority to City calls when requested; <br />2)Maintain sufficient personnel and equipment to provide for a maximum response time of twenty (20) <br />minutes, except as otherwise provided herein; <br />3)Notify the SLPD upon receipt of request for tow when a tow unit cannot respond immediately and <br />give an estimated time of arrival; and <br />4)Provide immediate response whenever requested to respond to the scene where a child is locked in <br />a car or other emergency of such type. <br />If the Contractor is not available or cannot comply with items 1 -4, the Chief of Police or their designee will <br />have the discretion to request services from another Contractor until such time that the listed conditions can <br />be satisfied. <br />G.ADMINISTRATION <br />The San Leandro Police Department shall administer the Non -Professional Services Agreement on behalf of <br />the City and the Contractor shall abide by the directions and decisions of Police Department personnel at the <br />scene of a call. <br />H.CITY NOT LIABLE <br />Neither the City nor the SLPD shall be responsible to the Contractor for payment of towing, removal, or <br />storage charges. The Contractor shall look to the owner of the vehicle for payment of applicable fees, charges <br />or deposits or other sums payable for the towing and/or storage of a vehicle. <br />I.REPORTS TO BE MADE TO CITY <br />The Contractor shall provide the SLPD on the fifteenth (15th) day of each month with a written list of all <br />vehicles removed or impounded during the past month pursuant to the Non -Professional Services <br />Agreement. This list shall include vehicle owner's name and address (if known), vehicle make, license and <br />motor number, and Police report number. The list shall also include an inventory of all personal property <br />contained within each impounded vehicle. The Contractor shall also provide at the same time, a list of all <br />vehicles currently on the Contractor's premises that were removed from a traffic accident site handled by the <br />SLPD. This list shall also include vehicle license number, date of storage, reason for storage, and Police <br />report number, if applicable. An explanation of each tow requiring an excess of one hour shall be provided. <br />The monthly report shall be signed under penalty of perjury by the Contractor's principal or primary manager <br />for the performance of work under the Non-Professional Services Agreement. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: EEDD99C6-8640-4B7E-9983-C4A3C4BC8619
