Green Waste from Disposal as possible. D. End Uses for Green Waste. The Contractor shall divert Green Waste collected from Disposal. Contractor must provide end uses for Green Waste that maximize diversion credits far the City according to regulations established by the California Integrated Waste Management Board. E. Fluency and Hours of Collection. The Contractor shall collect Solid Waste and Green Waste from all the City Single Family Residences at least once per week with not more than seven (7) days between collections. The Contractor shall collect Recyclables every other week. Collection from Single Family Residences shall begin no earlier than 6:00 a.m., and shall cease no later than 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. In the case of an emergency, collection may be permitted at times not allowed by this paragraph, provided the Contractor has received prior approval from the City Representative. No Collection shall occur on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays except in a time of emergency or missed pickup, or to maintain a regular schedule due to Holidays recognized by the Contractor. Special pickups may be requested by Customers at additional cost which shall be billed by the Contractor. F. Curbside Service. Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials and Green Waste for pickup shall be placed on the Curbside. In the event an appropriate location cannot be agreed upon, the City Representative shall designate the location. All Solid Waste shall be placed in Cart(s). Recyclable Materials and Green Waste shall be placed in Carts. Provided, however, Green Waste may be bundled for pickup if securely tied and the materials do not exceed four feet in length, until such time that Automated Residential Green Waste service is implemented. G. Backyard Service. Where the resident of a dwelling is physically unable to place Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials and Green Waste at Curbside, the Contractor shall provide Backyard Service at na additional cosl~ Subject to approval of the City Representative the Contractor shall establish standards determining whether such physical inability exists for the purposes of this Agreement and how such services shall ~ provided. Subject to approval of the City Representative Backyard Services may be a special service far a Special Charge. H. Annual Cleanuos. The Contractor, when requested by Customer or the City Representative, shall provide free services to each Single Family Residence account for one (1) on-call annual cleanup per contract year for each year of the Agreement during such annual cleanup. The Contractor shall pickup bundled Green Waste, Bulky Waste and bagged Solid Waste and transport to a Disposal Site or processing facility at no additional cost to Customers. The following guidelines must be followed: All waste must be left at the curb by 6:00 a.m. The truck will pass each street one time only. Items, where appropriate, should be placed in garbage bags or boxes.
