4.7 MULTIFAMILY RESIDENCE SOLID WASTE AND GREEN WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE <br />A. Scope. The Contractor shall have the exclusive right to collect and dispose of all Solid Waste, <br />Recyclables and Green Waste from all Multi-Family Residences within the City. <br />B. ~reauencv of Collection. The Contractor shall collect Solid Waste from Multi-Family <br />Residences within the City at least one (1) time per week and provide Green Waste collection once <br />a week with not more than seven (7) days between collections. <br />C. Hours of Collection. Multi-Family Residences collection services shall be offered daily and <br />shall be made between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. In the case <br />of an emergency, collection may be permitted at times not allowed by this paragraph, provided the <br />Contractor has received prior written approval from the City Representative. No Collection shall <br />occur on Sundays or Holidays except in a time of emergency, or to maintain a regular schedule <br />due to Holidays recognized by the Contractor. Special pickups may be requested by Customers at <br />additional cost which shall be billed by the Contractor. <br />D. Point of Pickug. The Customers shall accumulate Solid Waste and Green Waste at locations <br />which are mutually agreed upon by the Customer and the Contractor and which are convenient far <br />collection by the Contractor. Where mutual agreement is not reached, the City Representative <br />shall designate the location. <br />F. Receptacles. The Contractor shall provide Carts or Bins or other Containers for the <br />accumulation of multiple dwelling unit Solid Waste and Green Waste collection. The number and <br />size of Carts, Bins or other Containers shall be mutually agreed upon by the Customer and the <br />Contractor. Where mutual agreement is not reached, the City Representative shall determine the <br />appropriate number and size of receptacles. <br />F. Annual Holiday Trees. During the month of January each year during the term of this <br />Agreement, the Contractor will provide, at no charge to the Customer or the City, Containers to <br />Multi-Family Residence Customers subscribing to Solid Waste collection service. Said containers <br />shall be used for the placement of holiday trees and shall be made available to the Multi-Family <br />Residence Customers fora period of not less than three (3) days, and not more than five (5) days. <br />G. Annual Cleanup. The Contractor shall provide all Multi-Family Customers with an annual pick <br />up on terms similar to that provided to Single f=amily Residence Customers. <br />4.8 MULTIFAMILY RESIDENCE RECYCLABLE MATERIALS SERVICE <br />A. Scope. The Contractor shall collect Recyclable Materials from Multi-Family Residences set out <br />for the purpose of collection in the City. As it becomes appropriate or beneficial, at the direction of <br />the City Representative the term "Recyclable Materials", as described in Article 1, may be edited, <br />changed, expanded, or reworded.
