Materials Collection vehicle which will, or may be, used to deliver Solid Waste to a <br />Transfer Station or Disposal Facility, to determine its unloaded ("tare") weight The tare <br />weight of each Solid Waste, Green Waste and Recyclable Materials Collection vehicle <br />shall be recorded by the Contractor. When additional or replacement Solid Waste, Green <br />Waste and Recyclable Materials vehicles are placed into service, the Contractor shall <br />promptly weigh such additional and replacement Solid Waste, Green Waste and <br />Recyclable Materials vehicles. Tare weights of all the Contractor Solid Waste, Green <br />Waste and Recyclable Materials vehicles shall be available for the City review during <br />normal business hours. <br />All weighing shall be conducted in accordance with the Contractor's standard procedures, <br />a copy of which shall be supplied to the City and updated from time to time. Tare weights <br />of Solid Waste, Green Waste and Recyclable Materials vehicles delivering publicly-hauled <br />Solid Waste which are required to be weighed will be established by weighing such Solid <br />Waste, Green Waste and Recyclable Materials vehicles on each entry to and exit from the <br />Disposal facility. <br />3. Weighing of Solid Waste. Green Waste and Recyclable_Materials. All Solid Waste, <br />Green Waste and Recyclable Materials vehicles used by the Contractor to deliver material <br />to a transfer station, Disposal facility or material recovery facility shall be weighed, and <br />their weights recorded, so as to accurately measure tons of material delivered. <br />If the scales and weighing equipment at the transfer station or Disposal facility or <br />processing facility are out of service, the Contractor shall determine the amount of Solid <br />Waste, Green Waste and Recyclable Materials delivered to the facility in the vehicles <br />operated by the Contractor, by utilizing the arithmetic average of that Solid Waste, Green <br />Waste and Recyclable Materials vehicle's recorded tons delivered on its immediately <br />preceding three (3) deliveries to the particular facility. <br />All information required by this Agreement shall continue to be recorded for each delivery <br />during any period the scales are out of service. Such recorded information shall be made <br />available to the City upon request <br />The Contractor shall repair or replace inoperable scales as promptly as possible. In <br />addition, if the scales are out of service forty-eight (48) hours, The Contractor shall <br />immediately supply temporary substitute scales, rather than continuing to use the volume <br />to weight conversion factors. <br />C. Aladdin Street Facility. The Contractor currently operates a facility at 61 Q Aladdin Avenue for <br />the collection, processing and temporary storage of Recyclable Materials. <br />The Contractor shall continue to operate the Aladdin facility in accordance with use permits 95-10, <br />96-18 and 97-7.
