<br />this Phase ofthe work, which shall include 60%, 90% (Plan Check Submittal) and <br />Final Bid Documents submittal. <br />2.3.3.1 The Phase 1- Work documents shall include site drawings for demolition, <br />civil, architectural, landscape, electrical and lighting. <br />2.3.3.2 Each submittal shall include drawings, specifications, and probable cost <br />estimates <br />2.3.4 The Consultant shall attend a pre-bid conference, and will issue Addenda to clarify <br />known bidders' questions. <br /> <br />Meetings: PMT meetings included in Schematic Design work <br />One (1) Pre-Bid Conference <br />Deliverables: 60% and 90% plans, specifications, and estimate <br />Final Bid documents, hard and electronic copy <br /> <br />2.4 Phase 2 Design <br />The Consultant shall prepare, for approval by the City, plans and specifications to fix and <br />describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical <br />and electrical systems, materials and such other elements as may be appropriate. <br /> <br />The plans and specifications shall set forth the details of the construction including <br />sitework, landscaping, structural systems, architectural systems, electrical systems (lights, <br />power, phone, data), mechanical systems, security systems (building alarm and <br />surveillance), plumbing systems and on and off site utilities as required. The work shall <br />include built-in cabinetry in the program rooms, restrooms, lounge, and reception desk, <br />and the equipment in the kitchen. A projector and retractable screen shall be specified at <br />the multi-purpose along with an A V system capable of running computer displays, VHS <br />and DVD entertainment and including a microphone system for voice. It is anticipated <br />that one or more doors will use electronic locks <br /> <br />The Consultant shall assist the City in applying for and obtaining a building permit from <br />the City of San Leandro Community Services Department (requires submission of plans, <br />specifications, and calculations, response to comments, and resubmittals as required to <br />gain approval). Consultant shall request utility information from appropriate agencies <br />and determine connection points. <br /> <br />Consultant shall include in the construction documents appropriate provisions requiring <br />the construction contractor to provide the documents needed for the USGBC submittal to <br />obtain LEED certification.
