<br />. <br /> <br />Meet with PG&E staff to obtain requirements for replacing PG&E service transformer and <br />transformer feed. <br />Evaluate three wire versus four wire requirements. <br />Develop design standards and criteria for the Project including legend and symbols and <br />construction details. <br />Develop electrical site plan showing modifications <br />Develop preliminary electrical single line diagram. <br />Develop 30 percent plans in conformance with Exhibit A-2 <br />Develop 30 percent design level engineer's opinion of probable construction cost. A <br />construction contingency of 35 percent will be used for this level. <br />Develop 30 percent design submittal including requirements to make electrical system code <br />compliant and catalog cut sheets of equipnlent provided. <br />Assemble outline specification sections. <br />Submit five copies of plans, specifications, and estimate for City review. <br />Attend workshop to discuss City comments to 30 percent design submittal. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Task 3-30 percent Design Submittal- Waste Activated Sludge Thickening Upgrades and <br />Primary Effluent Flow Equalization Improvements. This task includes the following elements: <br />· Visit the site and meet with WPCP staff to gain insight on the Project elements. <br />· Evaluate three waste activated sludge rotary drum thickeners. Manufacturers that will be <br />evaluated include Roediger, FKC, and Huber. The evaluation will include site layout <br />requirelnents and cost. Catalog cut sheets will be provided for each unit. <br />· Detennine flow equalization requirelnents including the following elenlents: 1) flow <br />equalization storage volunle will be detennined by evaluating last five years of data; 2) the <br />affect that the influent pumping station operation has on the flow equalization volume will <br />be evaluated; 3) passive systems (sequentially diverting primary clarifier effluent flow and <br />overflow weirs) and automated systems (nlodulating slide gate, weir plate or control valve) <br />will be evaluated; 4) operation and maintenance requirements including minimizing solids <br />and SCllIn accumulation by increasing the floor slope and automated wash down facilities; <br />and 5) modifications required to convert the Recirculation Pump Station to a Primary <br />Effluent Flow Equalization Return Pumping Station.
