<br />· Develop demolition drawings. <br />· Develop structural notes and details. <br />· Develop main single line diagram, switchgear line diagrmTIs, switchgear function diagram, <br />switchgear front elevations, MCC single line diagrams, and control diagrams. <br />· Develop site and area plans including overall plan, power and grounding plans. <br />· Develop construction sequencing plan. <br />· Develop specifications. <br />· Develop 70 percent design level engineer's opinion of probable construction cost. A <br />construction contingency of 20 percent will be used for this level. Include explanation or <br />source of pricing. <br />· Develop 70 percent plans in conformance with Exhibit A-2 <br />· Submit five copies of plans, specifications, and estimate for City review. <br />· Attend workshop to discuss City comments to 70 percent design submittal. <br /> <br />Task 5-70 percent Design Submittal- Waste Activated Sludge Thickening Upgrades and <br />Primary Effluent Flow Equalization Improvements. This task includes the following elements: <br />· Incorporate City's 30 percent design comnlents. <br />· Develop general and civil drawings. <br />· Develop denlolition drawings. <br />· Develop structural drawings including structural supports for waste activated sludge <br />thickening unit, containment area for waste activated sludge thickening unit, modifications <br />to existing tanks to be used for flow equalization, and modifications to existing <br />Recirculation Pump Station. <br />· Develop process and instrumentation diagrams for waste activated sludge thickening unit <br />and flow equalization system. Automation of waste activated sludge thickening unit and <br />flow equalization system will be limited to silnple level control and Ineasurement. <br />· Develop mechanical drawings waste activated sludge thickening unit and flow equalization <br />system. It is assumed that based on the information that is provided in the 30 percent <br />submittal, the City will select and sole source a waste activated sludge thickening unit. The <br />waste activated sludge thickening unit will be designed based on this unit. It is also <br />assumed that the existing polymer feed system and utility water system can be used for the <br />new waste activated sludge thickening unit. <br />· Develop main single line diagram, switchgear line diagrams, switchgear function diagram, <br />switchgear front elevations, MCC single line diagrams, and control diagrams. <br />· Develop site and area plans including overall plan, power and grounding plans. <br />· Develop 70 percent plans in conformance with Exhibit A-2 <br />· Develop construction sequencing plan. <br />· Develop specifications. <br />· Develop 70 percent design level engineer's opinion of probable construction cost.
