Specifications will be prepared in the City's standard format and in accordance with California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the Standard Specifications for public works construction 2006 edition "Greenbook" and City of San Leandro Standard Plans. The plans will be prepared at the minimum of 1" = 20', or bigger scale such as 1"=10' may be used when necessary. Preliminary conceptual plans will be submitted to the city for approval. The preliminary plan will include the following: 1) Prepare Preliminary 30% Plans, Specifications and Estimate 2) Project Review Meeting with the city 3) Coordination with Utility Companies Task 4 Preparation of 70% Design and Plans Based on the approval of the 30% design plans and information obtained in Task 2 KOA will prepare a 70% work-in-progress design plans. Similarly as before this will include intersection design and traffic signal design plans. The preliminary plans will include the following: 1) 70% Plans, Specifications and Estimate 2) Coordination with Utility Companies 3) Project Review Meeting with the City Task 5 Preparation of 100% and Final Improvement Plans and Construction Documents KOA will incorporate the comments and prepare 100% construction drawings and documents for the City's final review and comments. Recommend the number of working days to be included in the bid package. Coordination with utility companies will be maintained to make sure their relocation of transmission poles is proceeding according to the proposed schedule. Final 100% Plan submittal will include the following: 1) Final Plans, Specifications and Estimate 2) Coordination with Utility companies Task 6 Submittal of Stamped Drawings and Specifications and Construction Documents Under this task KOA will finalize the design package, stamped and signed by the KOA project manager and to be incorporated in the bid package for distribution. The 100% submittal will be wet stamped and signed by the engineer in charge. KOA will provide special provisions, engineers estimate and stamped mylars for the final design to the City.
