3. Proiect Design <br />Siemens shall provide design drawings and specifications for all components of the <br />Work in a format mutually acceptable to the City and Siemens in both hard copy and <br />AutoCAD formats signed and stamped by the licensed professional engineer <br />responsible for the design. The drawings and specifications are subject to the review <br />and approval of the City Engineer prior to the start of construction. <br />Siemens shall provide the design and scope of work for a grease receiving station and <br />cogeneration system, while adhering to and complying with all applicable federal, <br />state, and local codes and regulations. Major components within the process design <br />will consist of the following: <br />1) Grease Receiving Station. The design shall include the following: <br />a. Storage -consisting of a 15,000 gallon grease storage capacity as a base <br />design. <br />b. Pumping facilities- consisting of a grease truck offloading pump, as well <br />as grease delivery pumping to the digestion process. <br />c. Control feature -consisting of an automated interface panel and pump <br />control system. <br />2) Cogeneration System. The design shall include the following: <br />a. Fuel conditioning System -consisting of facilities necessary to reduce <br />moisture and certain contaminants to engine fuel specifications, and <br />compression capabilities adequate to deliver the fuel requirements to <br />operate the reciprocating engines at full capacity. <br />b. Cogeneration System -consisting of three (3) reciprocating generators at <br />gross capacity of 110 kW each (totaling 330 kW in gross output capacity) <br />while firing anaerobic digester gas as the fuelgas, heat recovery system so <br />as to preheat boiler water via engine exhaust, and remote monitoring. The <br />cogeneration system will be designed to adhere to the Performance <br />Guarantee. <br />c. Utility Interconnection -consisting of disconnects, protective relays, <br />metering. <br />Siemens shall provide construction-grade drawings and specifications so as to procure <br />the necessary Equipment and implement and commission the installed systems, as <br />described in this Exhibit, Project Construction. <br />4. Proiect Construction <br />Siemens shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to construct a complete and <br />operational system, as specified within this Exhibit, Project Design, that meets the terms of <br />this Agreement and is approved by all regulatory agencies. All materials will be new and of <br />good quality in conformance with the design drawings and specifications.
