EXHIBIT A2 <br />TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY <br />The topographic survey shall be drafted in accordance with drafting/design requirements, exhibit A5. The <br />survey shall be drafted in Autocad on the City's coordinate system. Found monuments and property <br />corners shall be shown on the survey. <br />The topographic survey shall show locations and elevations for all existing improvements including but <br />not limited to signs, poles, trees, buildings, structures, walls, hydrants, concrete pavement, asphalt <br />pavement, manholes, inlets, fences, driveways, utility boxes, curbs, gutters, valley gutters, and lane <br />markings. It shall include underground pipe sizes and inverts at inlets and manholes. Underground <br />utilities shall be shown per record drawings. High points, low points, and grade breaks shall be shown. <br />Topo shall extend 10' beyond the right of way or to the face of buildings behind the sidewalk. Finish <br />floor elevations for buildings shall be shown. Fences shall be described by material and height. Curbs, <br />retaining walls, or other features that create a vertical offset shall have top of feature and bottom of <br />feature elevations shown (i.e. top of wall and bottom of wall). <br />Consultant shall obtain maps and records as required to show all utilities, easements, and right of way <br />lines on the topographic survey. Road section (pavement and AB thickness) shall be shown on the plans <br />in the vicinity of the work. <br />In addition to showing all existing improvements, cross sections shall be taken at 50' intervals along East <br />14`'' Street. Each cross section shall show location and elevation of back of sidewalk, top of curb, flow <br />line gutter, lip of gutter, crown of road, and any grade breaks in the road cross slope. <br />EXHIBIT A3 <br />TRAFFIC STUDY <br />Consultant shall obtain most recent traffic counts from Caltrans and City of San Leandro Traffic Division, <br />and conduct turning movement counts throughout the corridor. Consultant shall conduct 24-hour traffic <br />counts on East 14~' if recent counts from Caltrans are not available. All counts shall be projected forward <br />to the year 2025. For current and future volumes, analyze queuing for left turns from East 14"' street and <br />level of service for left turns onto East 14u' Street (from side streets). Evaluate gaps in traffic for <br />pedestrian crossing of East 14`h Street with respect to crossing the entire roadway and for crossing just to <br />the median. Include recommendations for left turn lane locations, lengths, and taper lengths, crosswalk <br />locations, median break locations, signage and stripping. Traffic consultant shall also review final plans <br />for conformance with recommendations and comment on traffic control plans. <br />EXHIBIT A4 <br />MEDIAN GEOMETRY <br />The City plans to ultimately install bulb-outs and wider sidewalks along this section of East 14~' Street. <br />To accommodate future plans the new median shall be 12' wide and located in the center of the right of <br />way. At left turn pockets the Median shall be 8' wide, shifted so that there is 51' to the right of way at the <br />turn lane.
