Task 2.3 -Existing Geometrics <br />Contractor shall establish the existing interchange/roadway geometry based on asbuilts. <br />Existing geometrics shall be inputted into the aerial base to supplement the drawing for <br />clarity and definition. <br />Task 2.4 -Field Surveying <br />Contractor shall obtain Caltrans and City monument and design control. Contractor shall <br />perform a topographic survey as required to verify existing features or conform grades <br />for the Project. It is assumed that topographic surveys will not require traffic control. <br />Contractor shall use Contractor's existing Caltrans Encroachment Permit to perform <br />topographic survey required. If the Caltrans Encroachment Permit expires prior to <br />performing the survey work, Contractor shall apply for an Encroachment Permit Rider. <br />Task 2 Deliverables <br />• Existing Roadway Geometrics and Right of Way Drawings <br />• Caltrans Encroachment Permit (If Necessary) <br />Task 3: Development of PSR Alternatives <br />Contractor shall review the traffic operations analysis and develop the viable geometric <br />alternatives. Contractor shall evaluate alternatives for right of way impacts and <br />construction staging requirements. <br />Task 31-Traffic Operations Analysis Review <br />Contractor shall review the traffic forecasting, projections and operations analysis. <br />Contractor shall evaluate the proposed alternatives for implementation into the PSR. <br />Task 3.2 -Geometric Alternative Design Development <br />Contractor shall develop three (3) geometric alternatives for the Westgate Extension <br />connection to Davis Street in accordance with the City Traffic Operations Analysis. At <br />least one geometric alternative will include the addition of a left turn lane on Davis Street <br />Overcrossing and reconstruction of the Overcrossing. <br />Task 3.3 -Right of Way Requirements <br />Contractor shall review the three (3) geometric alternatives for the Westgate Extension <br />connection to Davis Street and the existing right of way to determine the proposed right <br />of way requirements for each alternative.
