The construction cost estimate shall be prepared in
accordance with the requirements for a Caltrans PSR.
Task 4.3 -Right of Way Checklist
Contractor shall determine the right of way requirements for each alternative. Contractor
shall complete a Right of Way Checklist for each alternative in accordance with the
requirements for a Caltrans PSR.
Contractor shall perform a site reconnaissance to evaluate possible current, on right-of-
way features that could be of environmental concern. Historical aerial photographs and a
commercial database that identifies documented environmental cases on and near the
right-of--way will be reviewed. No review of regulatory agency files is anticipated since it
is assumed that the project will not involve dewatering. Contractor shall document its
results in the ISA.
Task 4.4 -Design Exceptions
Contractor shall identify the design standards in the Caltrans Highway Design Manual
which require advisory and mandatory design exceptions for each of the PSR geometric
alternatives.
