The <br /> typical weekday morning peak hour occurs between 7:15 and 8:15 AM, and the evening peak <br /> hour occurs between 4:30 and 5:30 PM. Existing intersection volumes are presented in <br /> Figure 4. <br /> SITE TRAFFIC CHARACTERISTICS <br /> The trip generation for the proposed project was completed by using rates published in <br /> Institute of Transportation Engineers' (ITE) Trip Generation, 6t1i Edition. Before selecting <br /> ITE rates, trip generation studies prepared by Fehr & Peers Associates for auto dealerships in <br /> Roseville and Stockton were reviewed, but ITE rates were determined to be higher. <br /> Consistent with Fehr & Peers Associates' approach to preparing traffic impact analysis, this <br /> represents a conservative assumption. <br /> Table 1 presents trip generation for estimates based on number of employees and gross floor <br /> area. Since the estimates based on the number of employees are higher, they are used for the <br /> remainder of this study.
