City of San Leandro <br />Sewer System Management Plan <br />Volume I <br />Collection System Map <br />® San Leandro, U <br />Each of the City's 184 base maps are digitized and formatted into an ArcGIS based mapping <br />system. The Graphical Information System (ArcGIS) mapping system is linked to the Collection <br />Department CMMS program, a street directory, and TV inspection Records. The link allows the <br />map to be populated with key data such as pipe size and pipe length. Maps are continuously <br />updated by Engineering as new tracts are accepted, and map corrections are identified by the <br />collection crew based upon field observations. Information Services provides updated map pages <br />to all map holders on a regular basis. <br />Prioritized Preventive Maintenance <br />The crew is equipped with modern equipment, Including one Combo Truck, one Hydro, one <br />Rodder, one CCTV, one Tanker, one 1 -ton dump, one pickup and one emergency response <br />trailer. The six man crew rotates on a seven day 24/7 standby schedule <br />Computerized Maintenance and Management System (CMMS) <br />ICOM3 is used to manage the collection system preventive maintenance program. Maintenance <br />planning and scheduling is used to establish annual and other periodic maintenance goals. These <br />Page 114 <br />
