2.3 Construction Documents: Consultant will prepare Plans, Specifications, and Estimate to the 30% level of completion with elements that include: a. Title Sheet b. Key Map of Streets to be Rehabilitated c. Roadway Reconstruction Plan and Street Profile d. Cross Slopes of Proposed Streets or Cross Sections indicating Cross Slopes e. Curb Ramp Type Identification based on City Standards (no fine grading) f. Non -Standard Curb Ramps where design exception is needed (fine grading included) g. Signage and Striping Plans h. Construction Details i. Construction Staging and Phasing Plans j. Project Specifications (materials and methods, greenbook format) k. Bid Schedule and Cost Estimate 2.4 Coordinate with Public Utilities in Project Area: Consultant will meet with public utility companies to introduce the project and discuss potential impacts to utility infrastructure. Consultant will provide both written notice and hold a meeting at the City offices describing the proposed construction schedule and moratorium on future work once the paving is complete. Deliverables: • Final project report. • One set of cost estimates submitted electronically in excel compatible files • Technical specifications submitted electronically in word compatible files • Four sets of full size drawings on bond paper. Task 3: Construction Documents (60% PS&E) 3.1 Construction Documents: Consultant will update the Plans and Specifications prepared in Task 2.3 to the 60% level of design. 3.2 Coordinate Public Utility Modification/ Relocations: Consultant will coordinate with the public utilities for relocation due to the City's improvements. This includes a second meeting at the City offices to discuss final coordination items detailed in the 60% submittal. Deliverables: • One set of cost estimates submitted electronically in excel compatible files • Technical specifications submitted electronically in word compatible files • Four sets of full size drawings on bond paper. Task 4: Construction Documents (90% PS&E and Final) Objective: Based on staff, utility, and public comments, Consultant will prepare documents for bidding and construction. 4.1 Construction Documents: Consultant will update the Plans and Specifications prepared in Task 2.3 to the 90% level of design.
