CONTINUITY OF GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS <br />The California Emergency Services Act32 provides the authority and procedures to ensure the contfnued <br />functfoning of government within the State of California. It outlines procedures for the succession of government <br />officers and ensures the contfnued functfoning of government during and after an incident. <br />5.1. ORDERS OF SUCCESSION <br />Depending on the extent of the incident, the normal City organizatfon may be partfally or entfrely replaced by an <br />emergency organizatfon. City Officials may or may not be fully occupied with their emergency roles.
