CONTINUITY OF GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS <br />The California Emergency Services Act 32 provides the authority and procedures to ensure the con�nued <br />func�oning of government within the State of California. It outlines procedures for the succession of government <br />officers and ensures the con�nued func�oning of government during and a�er an incident. <br />5.1. ORDERS OF SUCCESSION <br />Depending on the extent of the incident, the normal City organiza�on may be par�ally or en�rely replaced by an <br />emergency organiza�on. City Officials may or may not be fully occupied with their emergency roles.
