AMENDMENT OF CONSENT CALENDAR City Councilmembers or staff have an opportunity at this time to request that an item be removed from the Consent Calendar for the presentation of a staff report or other special consideration. Members of the Public may request the opportunity to address the City Council regarding items remaining on the Consent Calendar by filling out a speaker card and submitting it to the City Clerk prior to the calling of Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar. Items remaining on the Consent Calendar will be considered for approval under one motion. 8. CONSENT CALENDAR Consent Calendar items are considered for approval by the City Council with one single action. As described above in Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar, the City Council may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of presentation or discussion. Members of the public who have requested to address the Council regarding items remaining on the Consent Calendar may do so for up to 3 minutes per item with a maximum of 5 minutes for all items. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. A. Minutes of the Meeting of January 22, 2008. B. Resolution Adding the San Leandro African American Business Council to the List of City Council Community Empowerment Fund Recipients (allows the organization to receive Empowerment Fund contributions from the City Council). Resolution Approving a Sublease Agreement with TransBox Systems for the Airspace Under the Davis Street Overcrossing at Beecher Street (approves afive-year lease with an option for afive-year extension with TransBox Systems for the sublease of airspace under the overpass of Davis Street at Beecher Street). (213 8) D. Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and Barry J. Miller, AICP, Related to Preparing the Housing Element Update and Related General Plan Amendments in an Amount Not to Exceed $100,000 (updates the Housing Element to comply with State Department of Housing and Community Development [HCD] regulations). Funding: General Fund. (2323) E. Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro Authorizing the Executive Director to Enter into a Consulting Services Agreement with Main Street Property Services, Inc. for Implementation of a 2008 Marketing Plan (provides for development of a marketing plan for use in Downtown San Leandro to complement the current Downtown San Leandro Transit-Oriented Development [TOD] Strategy). Cost: $140,000. Funding: Redevelopment Agency Plaza Area and Joint Project Area Funds. (3076/3107)
