AMENDMENT OF CONSENT CALENDAR <br />City Councilmembers or staff have an opportunity at this time to request that an item be <br />removed from the Consent Calendar for the presentation of a staff report or other special <br />consideration. Members of the Public may request the opportunity to address the City <br />Council regarding items remaining on the Consent Calendar by filling out a speaker card and <br />submitting it to the City Clerk prior to the calling of Item 7, Amendment of Consent <br />Calendar. Items remaining on the Consent Calendar will be considered for approval under <br />one motion. <br />8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Consent Calendar items are considered for approval by the City Council with one single <br />action. As described above in Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar, the City Council <br />may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of presentation or discussion. <br />Members of the public who have requested to address the Council regarding items remaining <br />on the Consent Calendar may do so for up to 3 minutes per item with a maximum of 5 <br />minutes for all items. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by <br />title. <br />A. Minutes of the Meeting of January 22, 2008. <br />B. Resolution Adding the San Leandro African American Business Council to the List of <br />City Council Community Empowerment Fund Recipients (allows the organization to <br />receive Empowerment Fund contributions from the City Council). Resolution Approving a Sublease Agreement with TransBox Systems for the Airspace <br />Under the Davis Street Overcrossing at Beecher Street (approves afive-year lease with <br />an option for afive-year extension with TransBox Systems for the sublease of airspace <br />under the overpass of Davis Street at Beecher Street). (213 8) <br />D. Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement Between the City of San <br />Leandro and Barry J. Miller, AICP, Related to Preparing the Housing Element Update <br />and Related General Plan Amendments in an Amount Not to Exceed $100,000 (updates <br />the Housing Element to comply with State Department of Housing and Community <br />Development [HCD] regulations). Funding: General Fund. (2323) <br />E. Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro Authorizing the <br />Executive Director to Enter into a Consulting Services Agreement with Main Street <br />Property Services, Inc. for Implementation of a 2008 Marketing Plan (provides for <br />development of a marketing plan for use in Downtown San Leandro to complement the <br />current Downtown San Leandro Transit-Oriented Development [TOD] Strategy). <br />Cost: $140,000.
