AMENDMENT OF CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />City Councilmembers or staff have an opportunity at this time to request that an item be <br />removed from the Consent Calendar for the presentation of a staff report or other special <br />consideration. Members of the Public may request the opportunity to address the City <br />Council regarding items remaining on the Consent Calendar by filling out a speaker card and <br />submitting it to the City Clerk prior to the calling of Item 7, Amendment of Consent <br />Calendar. Items remaining on the Consent Calendar will be considered for approval under <br />one motion. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Consent Calendar items are considered for approval by the City Council with one single <br />action. As described above in Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar, the City Council <br />may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of presentation or discussion. <br />Members of the public who have requested to address the Council regarding items remaining <br />on the Consent Calendar may do so for up to 3 minutes per item with a maximum of 5 <br />minutes for all items. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by <br />title. <br /> <br />A. Minutes of the Meeting of June 25, 2007. <br /> <br />B. Minutes of the Meeting of July 2,2007. <br /> <br />C. An Ordinance Adding Section 4-1-810 to Chapter 4-1, Title 4 of the San Leandro <br />Municipal Code Relating to Daytime Curfew (expands the scope of authority to address <br />the problem of truancy during normal school hours). Resolution Adopting the City ofYangchun, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of <br />China as a Friendship City (enters into a Friendship City affiliation to create greater <br />mutual understanding and provide educational, cultural and economic development <br />exchange opportunities). Matter of Approval of the Addition of the Awning, Sign and Paint Program (ASAP) to <br />the Existing Commercial Rehabilitation Program and Authorizing of the Executive <br />Director to Approve ASAP Grants (creates a new, two-tiered Commercial Facade <br />Improvement Program for business and property owners for commercial facade <br />improvement and provides: 1) reimbursable matching grants up to $10,000 under the <br />ASAP Program; 2) 10-year forgivable matching loans for up to $50,000 under the <br />Commercial Rehabilitation Program; and 3) authorizes the Executive Director to <br />administratively approve ASAP Program grants). Funding: Plaza Redevelopment <br />Project Area Fund, Joint Redevelopment Project Area Fund, and West San <br />LeandrolMacArthur Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area Fund. <br />
